I love this book!
I've been checking this out from the library for the past two years but figured I should buy a copy since I read it so much.

The story is compelling and well-written, it makes you feel for each of the characters (even if you don't like them).
Also, while there is some romance in the novel, I really appreciated that it didn't turn into a sappy romantic storyline.

*I bought the book used (like new), but it arrived in perfect condition and was packed inside a bubble mailer.

Entertaining series.
Great new fantasy paranormal romance series. The author had her work cut out for her to make these two love each other. No insta-love in this series.
So much more than a love story though. This is the start of an epic saga.
Off to book 2!
Vengeance Born is a fantastic introduction to both Kylie Griffin and her world of Light Blade's. Her world-building is phenomenal, her characters are convincing and the journey they embark on is one of nail-biting excitement and trepidation.

Even reading Vengeance Born a second time, I found myself pulled in, rediscovering how they got to where they ended up and seeing new things that I didn't see the first time around. I still couldn't put the book down before I finished it.

I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
I read an excerpt of this book in its infancy and had to wait two years for it to be released. It did not disappoint. Kylie Griffin's debut novel is the beginning of a wonderful fantasy series. With strong characters and a plot that kept me turning pages, I was completely enthralled. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Well done Ms. Griffin.
I usually try not to read new paranormal books because it often ends up being a direct copy of an existing author that I already like. However Griffin has created a whole new world that is interesting, adventurous, has great romance, and makes a lot of sense. I enjoyed this story so much that I bought the second one without even thinking about it. If you like anything by Jacquelyn Frank you will enjoy this novel.
I seriously love this series. I had bought book two because it caught my eye. I then discovered it was the second in the series so I bought book one. I have now finish both of them and am on to book 3. I love this series. The way each book develops the relationships between characters is just amazing. I have to say the second book so far is my favorite. I wish there was a book 4!!!!
I started reading this around 7pm and just finished it to the end. I was so enthralled with the characters...I couldn't stop reading! It is a little bit of a quick reading...or at least for me it was. But I was hooked at the beginning. I was scrolling through my list of titles I haven't read yet and this one stuck out. I wasn't sure why at first.

Annika is one of the most loved characters I read about in a while. Here you have a woman who has struggled with her identity among the Na'Chi and the Na'Reish; she has struggled with an abusive life finding no love or acceptance in anyone save for one human, a human woman who solely believed that Annika was meant for the greater good of all Na'Chi (half-breeds). It is heart breaking to see her struggle; but what a thrill it is to see her overcome everyone's doubts including her own.
